INCA TURISTIC

INTERESTING PLACES IN INCA. 

Inca is not a turistic town. It is the main middle city of the island where you can find the middle island hospital, well connected by train or bus. Its center is 8 min. walking from here and you can find what you want: chemestries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, our church, healthy centers, fitness center, shops, central police station...

There are some places with high cultural value as Claustro de Santo Domingo, Shoe museum, Histoirc center, Main house square, Santa Maria La Major church, Convent de Sant Francesc...

The only montain in Inca is Puig the Santa Magdalena: it is a nice hiking walk from here. At the top you will find a little hermitage and a very nice restaurant and well recomended with wonderful views

Some international shoes shops and factories have their origen in inca: you can visit : Camper, recamper, Lotusse, Carmina Shoes...

RESTAURANTS

Inca is the most important CELLERS´ TOWN: these are tipical mallorquin restaurant with traditional meals. It is necessary to reserve: we recomend Can RIpoll, Sa Travessa, Can Marron, Can Lau, Ca n ´Ignasi.

There are also different type of bars, cafes, pubs, tascas, restaurants..in Inca . We love: Suro,  Asador Maype ( argentinian meat), Puig de Santa Magdalena ( special views). Joan Marc ( special dayly menus and tapas), Naturalment, Naturpoke,Ginebro as vegeterian or vegan options. There are also others like burgers, pizzas, chinese, japanese, some tapas as , Dayla tapas, Sexto sentido burger...

If you want to ask for a delivery service, we will let you do it but we need some responsability for guests: 

- Do not ahveliunch or dinner in the rooms: antsa and aother insects are coming fast

- You can use our terraces or our breakfast place: Keep the place as clean as you have it before

-Through the rubbish into the bin and recylcing points and retire the plates to our kitchen or buffet table

INCA´ SPECIALITIES

TRADITIONAL BAKERIES:

In Inca there are still few traditional and ancestral bakeries where to find the best dark bread, ensaimada, cremadillos, cream cake, sobrasada cake, cocorrois ( vegetable little pie), empanadas ( meat or fish little pie)...

We hightly recomend the oldest bakeries:  Es forn de Sant francesc ( best ensaimada in the world 2019 award),  Can Alba o Can Delante. If you want ensaimades to bring back home... you must reserve them in advance or you can also buy them at the airport: the best place at the airport is Sto. Cristo rei Bakerei.

Specials: Pastelería Francesa Oh la la profesional and eco products; once a week they celebrate jazz sessions in a quite way...

 Queli factory began their work in 1852 in Inca; you can visit their factory today!! Before you leave Mallorca, you might try their star product: quelitas ( mini lillte breads) very famous in Mallorca.

SPECIAL MALLORQUIN SOUSAGES, CHEESES, OIL AND PATÉS

SAUSAGES: 

The best sobrasada, langoniza, botiffarró, Camaiot in Mallorca you can find are in traditional butcheries as  Cas Sereno o Casa Capellana in Inca or in specialist mallorquin products shops as Son VIvot in Palma. There are lots... but here you have some..

CHEESES: 

Our cheeses from Campos or Felanitx like GRIMALT or the most famous balearic cheese from Menorca COINGA can be bought in teh same specialist shops and also  in Can Llompart, Sa Formatgeria, Fetasoller...

OIL AND OLIVES: 

OLIS CAIMARI, BATLE or ROSSELLO with its SON MESQUIDASSA LINE, are the most important olives and virgen oil companies. Olis Caimari is near Inca and you can visit its tafona where the virgen oil is produced and also tast different types of oils, olives...in their little shop.

PATES: 

Patés like Munar, Felanitx or Luna are well known and high recomended. 

WINES: 

There are lots of different wine companies. Our Bodegas Munar is very small so we produce btw 12.000 bottles a year... Of course you can vissit our wineyard and reserve a BODEGAS MUNAR wine tasting at the reception or emailing us...follow this link for more info: TAST

The most famous and nearest big wineyards companies: JOSE FERRER, MACIA BATLE, SON BORDILS, TIANNA NEGRE, BINIAGUAL.. ( near Inca, most of them in Binissalem )... There are more than 80 wine companes In Mallorca.

THURSDAY: OUR MARKET DAY

Every thursday Inca has its own open air market where all the mallorquin farmers and homemade workers expose their products. It is well known and lots of mallorquin people and also tourist come every thursday to visit it!

The biggest MARKET in Mallorca is called DIJOUS BO and it is here in Inca: usually it is on the 3rd thursday of November...it is the biggest and most importar mallorquin market party celebrated since XIII with no interruptions until 2020. for covid reasons!!
